Dr. Ruth Heisey is Chief of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Women’s College Hospital and a GP Oncologist specializing in breast disease at Princess Margaret Hospital. She is an Associate Professor and Clinician Investigator in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and she is cross appointed to the Department of Surgical Oncology at the University Health Network. She is a current member of the board of directors at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.



Research Synopsis

Her research interests include breast cancer prevention, screening and diagnosis. She strives to help family physicians better identify, manage and support women with breast concerns.
