Dr. Sun is Honorary President of the Shanghai Pudong Institute for Health Development and Professor at the Medical School & School of Public Health, Fudan University, Shanghai. He has published and taught extensively on Shanghai’s health care system, with a focus on primary care reform and general practice.

In light of recent health care reforms, China is working towards expanding access to cost-effective primary care health services and improving quality of care for the population.
