SAVE THE DATE! Celebration of Education Scholarship Nov 28-29, 2019

There is a lot of buzz around 'big data' and 'learning analytics' in medical education. Does the reality match the hype?

A line up of world-renowned speakers, headed by Dr. Janet Corral, will be joining us for our next Celebration of Education Scholarship event on Nov 28 and 29. Dr. Janet Corral is a scholarly scientist at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is an advocate in educational technology innovation and knowledge translation for the continuous quality improvement of the health professions education mission.

Please hold these dates so that you can join your colleagues as our guests help us to demystify learning analytics, separate fact from fiction, and discuss how these changes will impact our school, our teachers, and our learners in a practical way.

Thu Nov 28, 5:00-7:30 pm, Faculty Club, 41 Willcocks Street
An informal reception and presentation by Dr. Janet Corral.

Fri Nov 29, 8:00-4:30, 500 University Avenue
A full day of activities, including a presentation by Dr. Janet Corral, panel session, journal club, AOP project updates and more. This will be a great opportunity to learn with like-minded colleagues.
